Comparative Art and Literature

Guide for Authors

- The author/authors are responsible for the originality and content of the content of the article.

- In the articles taken from students' dissertations or theses, the name of the supervisor or a letter confirming the content of the article must be signed on university letterhead.

- The name of a professor as the author is necessary in the articles sent by students or masters graduates.

- It is necessary to complete the commitment form and upload it.

- It is necessary to complete the conflict of interest form and upload it.

- Articles must be typed in Word 2013 and above and uploaded to the system.

- The distance of the lines is 1, the margin is 3.5 cm on each side.

- Each article should be written in a maximum of 10,000 words with B Nazanin font 13 and English terms and abstract with Times New Roman font size 11 and based on the script approved by the Persian Language and Literature Academy.

- On the title page, the title of the article in B Nazanin 14 font, under the title B Nazanin 12,

- The name of the author or authors should be uploaded in a separate file with their complete information (major, university where they studied and taught, academic rank, email address, contact number).

- The information of all the authors of the articles must be uploaded in the system in full (Farsi and English name, full academic rank with the name of the university where they studied or taught Farsi and English).

- The Persian abstract of the article should be set in 200 to 250 words and in one paragraph.

English abstract should be between 150 and 250 words.

- Keywords should be between 3 and 5 words.

- Every article should include introduction, research background, discussion and conclusion.

- Explanations should be given as footnotes at the end of the article.

- How to refer quotations (direct or indirect): last name of the author/authors, year of publication: page number.

- If more than one work has been published by the same author in one year, these works should be identified by mentioning a, b, f... or a, b,...

- Refer to non-Persian sources in the same language.

- If the book has more than one author, the word "collaborators" should be written after the name of the first author. A work that does not have the name of the author should be referred to the name of the book. A work published by an institution or organization should be referred to the name of the same institution or organization.

- The list of sources and references should be in alphabetical order as follows:

Book:
Last name, name of the author/authors (year of publication). The name of the book. Names and surnames of the people involved (translator, proofreader, etc.) year of publication. Place of publication: Publisher.

Article:
Last name, name of the author/authors (year of publication). "Title". Name of the publication. period/year Number of pages from low to high.

Collections:
Last name, name of the author/authors (year of publication). "Title". The name of the editor or compiler. The name of the collection of articles. Place of publication: name of the publisher. Number of article pages.

Internet bases:
Last name, author's name (last revision date on the website). "title of the subject". Website name and address.
