Jeffrey Young's early maladaptive schemas can be used as a tool for analyzing literary texts in the field of psychology. In the literary world, novels play an important role in presenting an accurate picture of characters. Moradi Kermani, as one of the prominent Iranian writers, has created numerous works and directly and indirectly depicts themes such as loneliness, rejection, emotional deprivation, obedience, humiliation, and the search for identity that are related to early maladaptive schemas in his novel, You’re no stranger here. The aim of this study is to present the early maladaptive schemas in the character of Husho - the narrator of the story - and what his coping response to these schemas is. For this purpose, a descriptive-analytical approach will be adopted in data analysis, and in particular, Young's theories in the field of psychology will be used. This research shows that the schemas of rejection, deep emotional deprivation, affect the psychological development of Husho, the main character of the story. Despite this, he begins the process of reconciliation and rediscovers his original identity.
